Two faculty members and a staff member were honored during Southwest Baptist University’s annual convocation Wednesday, Aug. 18 – the opening of the 144th session of the University. Convocation marks the formal beginning of the academic year, a time when campus focuses on SBU’s mission and traditions, and a time to reflect on where SBU has been as an institution and to celebrate its future.
